SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS MUST VERIFY PHONE NUMBERS BEFORE POSTING
According to Decree 147/2024/ND-CP on the management, provision, and use of the Internet and information online, which was recently issued by the government, social media accounts must be verified using a mobile phone number or a personal identification code in order to operate and post content.

Decree 154/2024/NĐ-CP, which details the Residence Law, specifies the types of documents and materials needed to prove legal residence, as well as documents to verify personal relationships.
REGULATIONS ON INVESTING IN PARKING AND STOPPING POINTS ON EXPRESSWAYS
On November 15, 2024, the Minister of Transport issued Circular No. 58/2024/TT-BGTVT, which provides regulations on the investment in parking and stopping points, as well as the location and scale of rest stops, parking, and stopping points on expressways.
REGULATIONS ON VEHICLE REGISTRATION PROCESSING TIME FROM JANUARY, 2025
On November 15, 2024, the Ministry of Public Security issued Circular 79/2024/TT-BCA, which includes provisions on the time limits for processing the issuance and revocation of vehicle registration certificates, license plates for motor vehicles, and specialized vehicles. Circular 79 will replace Circular 24/2023/TT-BCA.
NATIONAL ASSEMBLY DECIDES TO REDUCE VAT BY 2% UNTIL JUNE 30, 2025
The National Assembly has agreed to reduce the Value Added Tax (VAT) by 2% for the first half of 2025, from January 1, 2025, to June 30, 2025, as outlined in Resolution 174/2024/QH15.
