1. Conditions for granting temporary residence cards to foreigners
According to the Immigration Information Page, to be granted a temporary residence card for foreigners, the following conditions must be met:
(1) General conditions for applying for a temporary residence card for foreigners;
- Foreigners' passports must have a minimum validity of 13 months (In case the passport is valid for 13 months, the Immigration Department will issue a temporary residence card with a maximum validity of 12 months);
- Foreigners must complete temporary residence registration procedures at the commune or ward police or register online in accordance with regulations.
(2) Specific conditions for each type of temporary residence card for foreigners
- For workers applying for temporary residence cards with symbols LD 1, LD 2, the work permit/work permit exemption certificate must be valid for a minimum of 1 year (12 months);
