ADVISORY ON NOT PROVIDING TAXPAYER INFORMATION TO UNIDENTIFIED ENTITIES
On October 18, 2024, the Large Enterprise Tax Department (General Department of Taxation) issued Official Letter No. 1345/CT-QLT2 regarding coordination for the dissemination of information and guidance on personal income tax (PIT) refund procedures. In the letter, the tax authority advises against providing taxpayer information to entities whose identities are unclear.

PREFERENTIAL TARIFF SCHEDULE FOR TAXABLE GOODS
The Government issued Decree 144/2024/ND-CP on November 1, 2024, amending and supplementing several provisions of Decree 26/2023/ND-CP regarding the preferential export and import tariff schedule for taxable goods, effective from December 16, 2024.
