PRINCIPLES FOR CONVERTING STATE-OWNED ENTERPRISE INTO PRIVATE SINGLE - MEMBER LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY FROM SEPTEMBER 1,2024
Decree 73/2024/NĐ-CP and Conclusion No. 83-KL/TW have decided to increase the basic salary to 2,340,000 VND (effective from July 1, 2024). With this increase, the benefits calculated based on the basic salary will also have a corresponding increase of 30%.
2% VAT REDUCTION FROM JULY 1, 2024
From July 1, 2024, business entities will officially continue to apply the VAT reduction policy to 8% according to Decree 72/2024/ND-CP issued by the Government following Resolution 142/2024/QH15 dated June 29, 2024, of the National Assembly.

On July 16, 2024, the Government issued Decree 89/2024/ND-CP on the conversion of state-owned enterprises established and operated under the State-Owned Enterprises Law into single-member limited liability companies operating under the provisions of the 2020 Enterprise Law.
FROM JULY 1, 2024, WHAT IS THE SALARY THRESHOLD FOR OFFICIALS, PUBLIC EMPLOYEES AND CIVIL SERVANTS TO PAY PERSONAL INCOME TAX?
From July 1, 2024, officials, public servants, and employees with a total income from salary and wages exceeding 11 million VND per month (132 million VND per year), after deducting mandatory insurance contributions as per regulations and without dependents, will be required to pay personal income tax.
