MAXIMUM MONTHLY SALARY FOR COMPULSORY SOCIAL INSURANCE FROM JULY 1, 2024
On June 21, 2024, after reviewing the report of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs in Report No. 46-TTr/BCSĐ, dated May 31, 2024, accordingly, the Politburo issued conclusion No. 83- KL/TW on salary reform; Adjust pensions, social insurance benefits, preferential benefits for meritorious people and social benefits from July 1, 2024.
MONTHLY SURVIVORSHIP ALLOWANCE FROM JULY 1, 2024
Decree 73/2024/NĐ-CP and Conclusion No. 83-KL/TW have decided to increase the basic salary to 2,340,000 VND (effective from July 1, 2024). With this increase, the benefits calculated based on the basic salary will also have a corresponding increase of 30%.
FACTORS AFFECTING LAND PRICES ACCORDING TO DECREE 71/2024/ND-CP

On June 12, 2024, the Ministry of Planning and Investment issued Circular 10/2024/TT-BKHĐT amending several articles of Circular No. 09/2021/TT-BKHĐT dated November 16, 2021, by the Minister of Planning and Investment, guiding the selection of investors to implement investment projects under the public-private partnership method and investment projects using land.
THE LATEST REGULATIONS ON COLLECTION AND PAYMENT SERVICES ACCORDING TO CIRCULAR 15/2024/TT-NHNN
On June 28, 2024, the Governor of the State Bank issued Circular 15/2024/TT-NHNN regulating the provision of non-cash payment services.
INCREASE IN MINIMUM MONTHLY SALARY BY REGION, BASIC MONTHLY SALARY FOR COMPULSORY SOCIAL INSURANCE CONTRIBUTION FROM JULY 1, 2024
On June 30, the Government issued Decree No. 74/2024/ND-CP stipulating the minimum monthly salary for employees working under labor contracts. Additionally, according to Decision No. 595/QD-BHXH in the year 2017: "The basic monthly salary for compulsory social insurance contribution specified in this Clause shall not be lower than the minimum monthly salary by region at the time of contribution for employees performing the simplest jobs or titles under normal working conditions." Accordingly, the adjustment of the minimum monthly salary by region will change the basic monthly salary for compulsory social insurance contribution for employees from July 1, 2024.
