REGULATIONS OF THE LAND LAW THAT TAKE EFFECT FROM APRIL 1, 2024
On January 18, 2024, the National Assembly passed the Land Law 2024 including 16 chapters with 260 articles, fully grasping and institutionalizing in the spirit of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022 of the The 5th Conference of the Party Central Committee, term XIII. Most of the contents of the Land Law 2024 will take effect from January 1, 2025. However, some provisions will take effect from April 1, 2024.
PRICE LIST FOR CALCULATION OF CAR LICENSE FEE FROM MARCH 20, 2024
On March 15, 2024, the Ministry of Finance issued Decision No. 449/QD-BTC on adjusting and supplementing the price list for calculating tolls for cars and motorbikes. Accordingly, the price list for calculating car registration fees will take effect from March 20, 2024.
CONDITIONS FOR ESTABLISHMENT OF HIGH-TECH PARK FROM MARCH 25, 2024
On February 1, 2024, the Government issued Decree 10/2024/ND-CP regulating high-tech zones, stipulating construction directions and development plans for high-tech zones; the establishment and expansion of high-tech parks; operating in high-tech zones; mechanisms, policies and state management of high-tech zones. The Decree stipulates the conditions for establishing a high-tech park.
INDUSTRIES AND PRODUCTION AND BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO INVEST IN INDUSTRIAL CLUSTERS EFFECTIVE FROM MAY 1, 2024
On March 15, 2024, the Government issued Decree No. 32/2024/ND-CP regulating the management and development of industrial clusters. In particular, regulations on industries and production and business establishments are encouraged to invest in industrial clusters effective from May 1, 2024.
THE GENERAL DEPARTMENT OF TAXATION REQUIRES IMPLEMENTATION OF ELECTRONIC INVOICES FOR EACH SALE FOR PETROLEUM RETAIL BUSINESS
On March 6, 2024, the General Department of Taxation issued Official Dispatch 837/TCT-DNL drastically implementing electronic invoices for each sale for petroleum retail business, effective from March 6, 2024.
