According to the Vietnam Social Insurance, based on the effective implementation of Decree No. 42/2023/ND-CP on adjustment of pensions, social insurance allowances and monthly allowances, Circular No. 06/2023/TT-BLDTBXH of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the direction of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and the opinion of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. In the payment period of August 2023, the industry will organize the payment of pensions, social insurance benefits and monthly allowances according to the new rates from August 14, 2023, specifically as follows:

1. Pension payment according to the new rate from 14/08/2023
On June 29, 2023, the Government officially issuedDecree 42/2023/ND-CP (effective from 14/08/2023) on adjustment of pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance. Accordingly, officially increasing the pension for 09 groups of subjects specified in this Decree with the following increases:
- An increase of 12.5% on the pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance of June 2023 for the subjects specified in Clause 1, Article 1 of Decree No. 42/2023/ND-CP. adjusted according to Decree 108/2021/ND-CP.
- An increase of 20.8% on the pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance of June 2023 for the subjects specified in Clause 1, Article 1 of Decree 42/2023/ND-CP who have not adjusted according toDecree 108/2021/ND-CP.
- Npeople who are enjoying pensions, social insurance allowances or monthly allowances as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 1 of Decree No. 42/2023/ND-CP, after adjusting according to the provisions of Clause 1 of this Article, have a level If benefits are less than 3,000,000 VND/month, the adjustment will be: Increase 300,000 VND/person/month for those who receive less than 2,700,000 VND/person/month; Increase to 3,000,000 VND/person/month for those who enjoy from 2,700,000 VND/person/month to less than 3,000,000 VND/person/month.
2. Add the difference due to the pension increase in July 2023, which has not been received in the salary period of August 2023
BSocial insurance will pay pension, social insurance allowance, monthly allowance of August 2023 and repay the increased difference amount of July 2023 according to the new benefit rate from August 14th/ 2023. Accordingly, the amount received will apply the following calculation formula:
