On October 31, 2023, National Assembly Delegates requested the National Wage Council to urge early wage negotiations to increase the minimum wage for workers in the corporate sector from July 1, 2024. With the minimum wage adjustment of 6%, an increase of 200,000-280,000 VND depending on the region, the specific salary increases in each region are as follows:
- Region 1: 4,960,000 VND;
- Region 2: 4,410,000 VND;
- Region 3: 3,860,000 VND;
- Region 4: 3,450,000 VND.
The current regional minimum wage in all regions is fluctuating from 3,250,000 VND to 4,680,000 VND.

In addition, the minimum wage will also increase by 6% from mid-2024. Specifically;

Thus, the highest regional minimum wage is 4,960,000 VND/month and the lowest is 3,450,000 VND/month.
