On June 30, 2025, the Minister of Health issued Circular 25/2025/TT-BYT, providing detailed guidelines for the implementation of the Social Insurance Law, the Occupational Safety and Health Law in the healthcare sector, and certain provisions of the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment.

Photo 1. Regulations on Certain Documents in the Application Dossier for Maternity Benefits from July 1, 2025 _ Hotline: 097 211 8764
Pursuant to Article 12 of Circular 25/2025/TT-BYT, specific regulations on certain documents in the application dossier for maternity benefits are as follows:
- Documents proving the infertility treatment process of female workers, including one of the following:
+ Hospital discharge note;
+ Medical record summary;
+ Confirmation of inpatient treatment;
+ Confirmation of infertility treatment for female workers.
- Confirmation from a medical examination and treatment facility regarding the requirement for female workers to take leave for prenatal care, including one of the following:
+ Hospital discharge note;
+ Medical record summary;
+ Confirmation of inpatient treatment;
+ Certificate of sick leave for social insurance purposes;
+ Confirmation of prenatal care leave.
- The forms, procedures, and authority for issuance of hospital discharge notes, medical record summaries, and inpatient treatment confirmations shall comply with Section 2, Chapter II of Circular 25/2025/TT-BYT.
Circular 25/2025/TT-BYT takes effect from July 1, 2025.
