Decision 948/QD-BHXH dated June 5, 2023 amending the process of collecting social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, occupational accident and occupational disease insurance; manage social insurance books and health insurance cards issued together with Decision 595/QD-BHXH and Decision 490/QD-BHXH of the General Director of Vietnam Social Insurance.

Accordingly, the subjects participating in household health insurance are amended in Clause 6, Article 2 of Decision 490/QD-BHXH as follows:
(1) Persons named in the same household applying for permanent residence, except those who fall into the following categories:
- Groups paid by employees and units;
- Groups paid by social insurance organizations;
- Groups paid by the State budget;
- Groups receiving support from the State budget for payment levels;
- The group is closed by the employer;
- The person who declared the temporary absence.

(2) People named in the same household register for temporary residence, except for the following:
- Groups paid by employees and units;
- Groups paid by social insurance organizations;
- Groups paid by the State budget;
- Groups receiving support from the State budget for payment levels;
- The group is closed by the employer;
- Subjects who have participated in group health insurance (1).
Decision 948/QD-BHXH takes effect from April 1, 2023.
