Currently, the business household registration procedure is prescribed in Decree No. 01/2021/ND-CP. In it, there is no regulation stating that this procedure must be registered online. However, in some big provinces and cities such as Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, business household registration is still carried out online at the online public service portal of the province/city where the main business household is located.
The Information System on Business Registration is a component of the National Information System on Business Registration. According to Circular No. 02/2023/TT-BKHDT, Online business household registration is regulated as follows:

Decree No. 01/2021/ND-CP on the business household registration information system under the National Business Registration Information System through the National Business Registration Portal;
2. The applicant for business household registration declares information, downloads an electronic document, and uses a digital signature to authenticate the business household registration application according to the process on the household registration information system. business;
3. The business registration authority of the district shall return the receipt of the application and the result of handling the business household registration procedure to the applicant via the electronic information network according to the process on the registration information system. household business.
